“The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever”.

Therefore, we at EMO make sure to give attention to the medical needs of our brothers and sisters of Islam.

In March 2020 we undertook a medical tour deep in the jungles of Sarawak, Malaysia, in partnership with Dr.Najwa Syasya Athirah Binti Abdul Razak, i-Medik, Yayasan Ikhlas and other doctors. Our aim was to provide simple medical check ups for the native people, as we know that they are often left-out from proper medical attention due to their living circumstances. The tour was a great success.

We have also sent money for medical needs for Muslims due to the war in Yemen or the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 we donated 9 hospital beds to a hospital in Malaysia.
